A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the Glencoe Guest House in Keswick. Offering four star, high quality bed and breakfast accommodation, it's a perfect base for walkers, cyclists or anyone who's just come away to relax. Inside is spacious, airy and tastefully decorated. Cleanliness is a priority and central heating throughout ensures warmth and comfort all year round.

The guest house is located on a quiet residential street and it's close to Keswick town centre and all its amenities. Unrestricted street parking is available directly outside.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Glencoe Guest House has six rooms which cater for up to 12 guests. There are twins, doubles, a family room and a single room to choose from. Every room is en-suite with the exception of the single which has exclusive use of a private bathroom.

Bedrooms include a flat screen Freeview TV, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, a well stocked hospitality tray and complimentary toiletries. Ironing facilities are available. 


Breakfast is served in the beautiful dining room and where possible locally sourced produce is used. Individual dietary requirements are catered for.

Other Facilities

Free Wi-Fi, magazines, walking books and maps, cycle routes and information about Lake District attractions is all available. Owners Keith and Sally are happy to provide you with daily weather reports and flask filling.

Around and About

The guest house is only a ten minute walk from 'The Queen of the Lakes', Derwentwater. 

The lovely market town of Keswick is nestled in the heart of the Lake District and it has a great selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms, restaurants, entertainment, beautiful gardens and art galleries.

In the surrounding area there's plenty of opportunity for fell running, horse riding, sailing, canoeing, cycling, walking, climbing and much more.


From the north and south: leave the M6 at Junction 40 and turn left onto the A66 heading towards Keswick. Follow the road for 15 miles until you reach the Keswick town centre. Then at the junction turn right onto Penrith Road and head towards the town centre. After half a mile turn left onto Greta Street, then cross Blencathra Street and then finally turn right into Helvellyn Street.
