The family owned and managed Bridge House Hotel in Grasmere is situated in two acres of peaceful woodland gardens, right beside the River Rothay. It's the perfect escape for walkers and there's a new route to be taken every day. The hotel is also ideally situated for exploring the Lake District National Park, Hawkshead, Coniston, Ambleside, Windermere and Keswick.
Bridge House is open 11 months of the year and equally inviting for families, couples and friends.
There are 18 en-suite rooms in total and and each features tea/coffee making facilities, Egyptian cotton sheets, luxurious towels, a Freeview TV, telephone and hairdryer.

Room 17 - A double room on the top of the hotel. Full of character
Room 18 - Often referred to as the 'nutcracker suite'. Large enough for a family
Guests can enjoy a traditional full English breakfast or a choice of tasty alternatives to set them up for the day.
Dinner is typically served from 6.30 - 8.30pm with last orders needing to be in by 8pm. The table d'hôte changes daily and special requests can be catered for. There's also plenty of choice for vegetarians and a great range of gluten-free options too. A children's menu is also available.
