About these Apartments

Peacefully situated in an attractive residential area yet just a short stroll from Lord Street, Barford House Luxury Self-catering Holiday Apartments in Southport are a selection of simply stunning one bed first and second floor apartments and two bed ground floor apartments all housed within a magnificent detached Victorian house.  Our elegant apartments are Enjoy England 3 and 4 Star Gold Award-winning accommodation.

Centrally situated near Marine Lake, the Promenade and the Conference Centre, the five apartments include free WiFi, off road parking and cots/ highchairs.  Open all year round, Barford House luxury accommodation is the perfect choice for families, conference delegates, OAPs and golfers.  Accessible ground floor 2 bed apartments are perfect for our less mobile guests.


All five deluxe apartments boast free WiFi and include two ground floor apartments and three apartments on the first and second floors.

Ground Floor 2 Bed Garden Apartment

  • Stylish throughout with its own private entrance through a porch.  Perfect for families, conference delegates and our less mobile guests - this apartment has no stairs. 
  • Living space includes a spacious lounge with seating for 6, a feature fireplace, 42" flat-screen TV, DVD player and a Hi-Fi plus a contemporing dining table seating six.
  • A fully fitted kitchen contains an oven and hob, a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, a fridge and a freezer.
  • Two generous bedrooms - a main king-size which can be a twin if preferred containing a fitted wardrobe running the length of the bedroom, a chest of drawers, a cosy rug and double sofa bed.  Bedroom 2 is a stunning king-size with a feature fireplace, a rug and charming prints, oak furnishings and a 32" flat-screen TV.
  • Bathroom with bath and shower over.

Ground Floor 2 Bed Apartment

  • Spacious and beautifully furnished with full heating throughout - ideal for families, golfers, conference delegates and our less mobile guests.

First Floor 1 Bed to the Front - Apartment 3

First Floor 1 Bed to the Rear - Apartment 4

  • Our other stylish 1 bedroom apartment on the first floor, ideal for couples featuring homely light and airy living space.
  • Lounge with a 32" flat-screen TV, DVD and Hi-Fi.
  • Two contemporary leather recliners and excellent quality carpets, plus a dining area.
  • Modern fitted kitchen containing an oven and hob, a fridge with a freezer box, table top freezer, a toaster, kettle and a microwave.
  • A stunning double bedroom with views of the rear garden, containing a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a chest of drawers.
  • Spacious bathroom with a bath and electric shower over, wc and wash basin.

Second Floor 1 Bed - Apartment 5

  • A generously sized second floor 1 bed apartment ideal for couples, golfers and conference delegates.
  • Spacious lounge with a large picture window overlooking the garden, 2 stylish leather sofas, a 40" flat-screen TV, DVD and a Hi-Fi.  Quality carpets are throughout.
  • Fitted kitchen with all essentials including an oven and hob, a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer.
  • Super king-size bedroom with a large chest of drawers, a double wardrobe, a 26" flat-screen TV and radio alarm clock.
  • The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, a bath, wc and wash basin.

One bedroom apartment prices start from only £299 per week - ring for best rates. A £150 non-refundable deposit is required. 

Call us direct for outstanding discounts on 7 night breaks. Barford House welcomes conference members. We can accommodate mid-week and weekend bookings, beds can be split for those who do not want to share. Minimum stay two nights. Winter discounts.
