Ballakerkey Cottage on the Isle of Man is a lovely Manx cottage providing luxurious 4 star Gold Award self catering accommodation in the Glen Maye National Glen, just a five minute walk to the beach. The cottage is nestled within 40 acres of our farmland which we are happy for you to explore. Guests can also tour The Glen with its breathtaking waterfall and farmland walks which lead onto the Way of the Gull - a spectacular coastal footpath which runs around the entire Island.
A welcome pack of tea, coffee, bread, butter, jam, milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine is available on arrival.
If you require a cot or highchair we can provide those on request.
All bed linen is included.
We do offer 3 night breaks from November - March (excluding school holidays).

The village of Glen Maye is situated on the west coast of the island and is well known locally for its lovely waterfall and we are set just a five minute walk from the beach.
The village is also the starting point for many of the islands coastal and moorland footpaths. The fishing town of Peel is only a ten minute drive and boasts a lovely harbour, 11th Century castle located on St Patrick's Isle, safe sandy beach and an array of restaurants, pubs and shops. Known as ‘Sunset City’ from here you can view the best sunsets on the island.
