The Swiss Chalet was built over 100 years ago and is part of the beautiful Ballamoar Castle Estate on the Isle of Man. A unique self catering retreat, The Swiss Chalet can accommodate up to 8 guests and children and pets are very welcome. Ballamoar lies on the Northern plains of the Island, just 6 miles from Ramsey and 17 miles from Douglas, the capital. This is a super location for families who enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. Guests at The Swiss Chalet are welcome to walk in the grounds and woods of Ballamoar Castle and take in some of the extremely rare species of plants and trees - many being over 200 years old.

"We stayed at The Swiss Chalet from 4th to 11th July and were welcomed warmly. The setting was interesting, the property was spotless and very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. There were games for the children and a completely private garden with barbecue. This is a lovely house and a good base for exploring the Island". (Bob & Family, July 2018).
