Craig Y Nos is a beautiful 16th Century farmhouse offering self-catering accommodation, set in 23 acres of land, just one mile up the lane from Craig Y Nos Castle Hotel. The earliest parts of the farmhouse date to pre 1700 with later additions through Georgian and Victorian times. Accommodating up to eight people the cottage offers excellent self-catering accommodation in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Rooms are available on a bed and breakfast or self catering basis. Dogs are welcome free of charge.
Breakfast is a 'help yourself' continental breakfast freshly prepared and delivered by the castle, though guests are welcome to have a full cooked English breakfast at the castle.
The cottage is approached by a steep farm track, to the front is a garden which is very suitable for children to play in and has a high 'wire' slide. Please note that there is a stream a little lower down. At the rear there is plenty of outside seating and dog running areas. The local award winning gastro pub is only a mile (down the track).
Guests at the farmhouse are welcome to use facilities at Craig Y Nos Castle Hotel located just north of the property:-
The self-catering farmhouse enjoys uninterrupted views of the countryside and there is a stream, waterfall and wooded areas within the grounds to walk and explore. Fishing is available on the nearby River Tawe. Our B&B cottage is within easy reach of the many attractions and places of interest in the area, including The National Showcaves, Carreg Cennen Castle, the Gower Peninsula, Dolaucothi Gold Mines, Castle Coch, and Henrhyd Falls.
As well as B&B rates, accommodation is available on a self-catering basis (sleeps up to 8). Please visit our website for up-to-date availability and pricing, or enquire direct for more information.
