About this Bed and Breakfast

Originally built in 1841, Sunnyside B&B started life as a ploughman's cottage and it's one of the oldest buildings in the area. For the past 60 years it's been a homely guest house and owners Lorraine and Frank offer a warm welcome to each and every guest that comes through the door.

Sunnyside is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful Loch Lomond and the bustling city of Glasgow.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Sunnyside B&B has a choice of en-suite double, twin and single rooms, as well as family rooms for three and four people.

Facilities include a Freeview TV, tea/coffee, alarm clock radio, heated towel rail, hairdryer and electric shaver point. Complimentary toiletries and a range of towels are provided.                                  

All rooms have access to free, unlimited, fibre optic Wi-Fi. Surf away to your heart's content.

Breakfast

The guest house has a large dining room and lounge which is capable of seating everyone.

The breakfast menu includes:

  • Cereal bar with choices of yoghurt, fruit juices, cereals and fresh fresh
  • Continental option with croissants, pain au chocolat, olives, cold meats, cheese and tomatoes
  • Scottish porridge and Scottish oat cakes
  • Traditional cooked breakfast with black pudding or haggis
  • Kippers
  • Unlimited toast with jams, marmalade and honey
  • Tea and fresh coffee

Vegetarians can be catered for, please notify when you book. Highchairs available for the little ones.

Around and About

Glasgow is only a 35 minute train ride away from the guest house and a few of its most highly rated attractions include: The Glasgow School of Art, Pollock Country Park, the West End, Botanic Gardens and Kibble Palace and the Scottish Football Museum. There's so much to see and do you'll be have to keep an eye on the time for the last train back.
