Gunnislake is a small rural village situated on the banks of the River Tamar, offering pubs and shops. The area is perfect for exploring Dartmoor, the south and north coast beaches and the attractions of Cornwall's far west. The town of Tavistock with its pannier market, pubs and restaurants is close by and there are many attractions nearby, including the fishing village of Calstock, the Donkey Sanctuary and the National Trust owned Cotehele House and Gardens.
Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
