Situated three miles from Eyemouth, Shoreside Cottage is a delightful period property with an abundance of original features. Formerly a fisherman's cottage, this stone property looks out over Burnmouth Bay and is just six miles from Berwick upon Tweed. Other attractions including Holy Island, St Abbs and the Farne Islands can also be found closeby.
The living accommodation includes exposed beams, feature fireplaces with either a wood burner or open fire, comfortable sofas and traditional furnishings. There is also a dining suite with four chairs and modern self catering facilities include a fridge/ freezer, washing machine, electric oven, hob, microwave, TV and DVD player.
The bedroom are presented as one double, one twin and one single which share use of a shower room with basin and WC.
Guests enjoy access to a tiered lawn garden with furniture, off road parking for two cars and there is also a pub set a fifteen minute walk up the 300 foot hill. The property can be accessed via the steep rear access road of the the private road which runs level from the harbour to the front of the cottage.
Due to the close proximity of the six foot high sea wall and cliff side garden, young children should be supervised at all times.
The rental charge includes electricity, starter packs for the open fire and wood burner, bed linen and towels.
