Perfect for extra special breaks to Snowdonia National Park, Plas Gwyfryn is an imposing Edwardian manor house with beautiful rooms and expansive gardens where the whole family can relax. The property is three miles from Harlech and eight miles from Barmouth.
The magnificent interior features wood burner stoves in the reception hall, sitting room, dining room and breakfast room. The formal lounge offers seating for up to six people and the reception has an oak table seating eight plus a piano. The fitted kitchen has an oil fired Aga and there is a door to the breakfast room which seats six.
Self catering facilities include a double gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
The property has entertainment facilities such as a 52" TV with Sky HD service including movies, a DVD player, Wi-Fi and range of books.
The house sits in eight acres of grounds with three acres of lawns, a formal rose garden, woodlands, inner courtyard, front veranda and beautiful views over the Artro Forest and Rhinog Mountains.
Care should be taken in the garden due to unprotected drops, steep steps, slippery paths and a small unfenced pond. The owners may be in residence in their house on the grounds.
There is also parking for ten cars and bike storage.
A shop and pub can be found a ten minute walk away.
A range of catering options are available for during your stay by arrangement with the owner along with wedding packages.
The rental price includes fuel, power, a starter pack for the wood burners, bed linen and towels. A cot and high chair can be provided.
Short breaks may be available during off peak times or as last minute stays. Two well behaved pets are welcome.
