Situated in a modern development right in the heart of York City Centre, 1 Turks Head Court was built in 1986 and offers a superb base for families and groups enjoying a relaxing holiday or short break.  Set over three floors, this stylish townhouse is located on a quiet residential road with no through traffic yet guests will find the varied attractions and amenities of this historic city just a short stroll away.

Living Space

• Entrance hall and oak flooring across the ground floor. 
• Modern fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, a microwave, a fridge freezer and an electric cooker.
• Contemporary ground floor lounge/dining room with a comfortable corner sofa, a large wall mounted flat-screen TV, a DVD player, an electric wood-burner effect stove and easy chair.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

• First floor double bedroom, twin bedroom and a main family bathroom with a bath, shower over and a razor point.
• A spacious twin bedroom and an ensuite shower room are on the second floor.

Outside

The property benefits from garage parking for one small car plus additional courtyard parking at an extra charge (by prior arrangement only).

Other Things to Note

Beds are made up for your arrival and we provide two towels per person.  There is a telephone for incoming and emergency calls. Gas central heating is included.

Availability

Weekly bookings are usually Friday to Friday.  Short breaks (3 and 4 nights) are available commencing on either a Monday or Friday.  Please note that we do not accept pets. 

Around and About

The property is a quiet city centre location just around the corner from York Minster.  Plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and historic attractions can be found a short walk away and the property is also close to the major road networks which are ideal for if you wish to enjoy a day out during your visit.

"We hired 1 Turks Head Court for a recent visit to York and found it to be an extremely clean and well equipped holiday home.  It suited our family really well, especially with the large en-suite on the second floor.  Its location is the biggest plus though, despite the good accommodation. It could not be closer to the many amenities that York has to offer.
