About this Holiday Cottage

Situated in a beautiful country location in between the villages of Laverton and Galphay, Mistle House is an interesting farm conversion ideal for family breaks. Meticulously converted with a high quality of workmanship, the cottage has laminate floors throughout, stained panel doors, exposed oak posts and stonework. The external stone steps from the garden to the bedroom are a remnant from the days when grain was carried to the loft and are still accessible today.

Enjoy exploring the surrounding countryside - a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - which is set on the western edge of the Vale of York, downstream from the 'Gateway' town of Masham. The attractions and amenities of the cathedral city of Ripon are also situated within easy reach.

The contemporary lounge is well appointed with a wood burner stove, three sofas, dual aspect windows and modern entertainment facilities such as Freeview TV, DVD player, radio/ MP3 dock and double doors into the modern kitchen. Modern self catering facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. The separate dining space is furnished with a family dining table with six chairs.

  • Ground floor cloakroom plus an adjoining fully tiled shower room and WC
  • Ground floor family bedroom with one double and one single bed
  • First floor double bedroom with king-size bed, skylight and a half tiled bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, WC and hand basin
