Set within 50,000 acres, yet within 8 minutes of the M4, Junction 47, we're a perfect gateway into the spectacular Gower Peninsula and ideal for walkers and nature lovers. No need to leave four legged furry friends behind, we warmly welcome dogs and the farm is an excellent base for families with a new play area now onsite.
Brynawel Farm also makes a great stopover, particularly when travelling on the Irish ferries. We are only 20 mins from Swansea football club, 8 mins from Morriston Hospital and within easy reach of The Ospreys and Scarlets Rugby Stadiums.
We have a choice of double and family rooms, all en suite and we also have two single rooms. The rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, and TVs. We can provide a travel cot and highchair on request.
Wake up to a full Welsh breakfast served in our breakfast area. We source our meats locally and free range eggs come from our own chickens and ducks.
Relax in the guest sitting room which has a flat screen TV or outside on our large patio and enjoy the stunning views. We have ample off road car parking for our customers. We welcome well behaved, house trained dogs and there is plenty of open space for exercise.
We are perfect for a golfing holiday as you will find 12 excellent golf courses within 20 minutes of the farm. We are happy to offer advice and suggest suitable courses for your ability and drop you off an pick you up after your round.
If you prefer fishing then we are close to a Shimano fishing lake where competitions are held regularly.
There are plenty of attractions to keep you entertained during your stay including Swansea Marina which boasts restaurants and shops. The LC2 in Swansea offers a fantastic waterpark, health spa, gym and sports facilities.
The Gower Coast is not to be missed and is great for walkers of all abilities, from beach walks to cliff top paths. Children will love exploring the farm and feeding the ducks and hens. We're are very close to Morriston Hospital, for those who are visiting patients and wish to stay near by.
Exit M4 at Junction 47; At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A48 heading to Gorseinon/Penllergaer/Pontlliw/A484. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit signposted Pontlliw. In the village of Pontlliw, at the traffic lights, turn right into Clordir Road. Continue onto Bryn-bach Road. Stay on Bryn Bach Road. Brynawel Farm will be on the right after the cattle grid.
