The spacious, heart-of-the-house family kitchen has solid oak beams, a log burning stove and a unique wooden table created from ancient sailing ship timbers. A fabulous dining area seats up to 6. (A children's high chair and child seat is available if needed.) A TV/DVD/CD is also available and kitchen appliances include a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and a microwave. There is also a traditional pantry. Central heating is throughout.
A cosy living area has an antique stove, oak beams, exposed sandstone walls and plenty of comfortable seating for 6, window seats, a 32 Channel TV, DVD, VCR, stereo, books, DVDs, videos, CDs, games and children's toys. Free WIFI is also available. The lounge is the perfect place to snuggle down in comfort and relax.
There are flexible sleeping arrangements in three light and airy bedrooms containing a double bed, two twin beds and two very comfortable adult-sized bunk beds. Wardrobes, drawers, a cot, bedside tables and reading lamps are provided.
A pretty tiled bathroom contains a walk-in electric shower, wash basin and a wc.
A pretty enclosed flowery sitting area is available with a table, chairs, pots and planters. Lovely Passion flower and Kiwi fruit climbers are also around the doorway.
There are no extras to pay for when you rent the cottage. All bed linen is provided and your beds are made up before you on arrival. Towels, all house-linen, and all kindling, firelighters, logs and fuel are included. We also provide tourist guides, maps and an arrival guide to help you get the most out of your stay.
