About this Holiday Cottage

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque ancient fishing village of Staithes is this warm & welcoming, Grade II listed, sandstone cottage, near Whitby, on the North Yorkshire Coast. With a wealth of exposed beams and period features, it is a great home from home, whether you are looking for a family seaside holiday, a 'get away from it all' cottage break with friends, a starting point for walkers on the Cleveland Way, or a couples’ memorable and romantic break in an intimate and magical location on the North Yorkshire Coast. Central heating throughout. Free WIFI. Ancient character and modern comforts and facilities. Based on past experience, we say "if you come once, you'll come back."


The spacious, heart-of-the-house family kitchen has solid oak beams, logburning stove  & a unique wooden table created from ancient sailing ship timbers. Great dining area, seating 6. (Children's high chair and child seat if needed.) TV/DVD/CD. Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, microwave. Traditional pantry.  Central heating throughout.

A great cosy lounge with an antique stove, oak beams & exposed sandstone walls has plenty of comfortable seating for 6, window seats, TV, DVD, VCR, stereo, books, DVDs, videos, CDs, games, children's toys.  Free WIFI. Bedrooms / Bathrooms

There are flexible sleeping arrangements in three light & airy bedrooms, containing double bed, two twin beds & two very comfortable adult-sized bunk beds. Wardrobes, drawers, cot, bedside tables & reading lamps are provided.

Other Things to Note

There are no extras to pay for when you rent the cottage. All bed linen is provided and your beds are made up before you arrive. Also provided are towels, all house-linen, and all kindling, firelighters, logs and fuel, tourist guides, maps and an arrival guide to help you get the most out of your stay.
