If you're coming from the North East take the A165 coast road at Burniston which takes you to Scarborough then follow signs for the town centre. When you reach Peasholm Park to your right you'll see The Almar about 200 metres further along Columbus Ravine on your right hand side.
For visitors coming into Scarborough from the A64 from York or from the A170 from Thirsk, head for the railway station. When you see the station and the Stephen Josepth Theatre to your left, take a left at the lights just in front of you. From Filey and Bridlington, stay on the A165 signed for Whitby and you'll see The Almar on the left hand side after you have gone across two roundabouts and past the town centre.
For guests arriving via train to Scarborough station, we are only a short downhill stroll away. Exit the station and go across the road to the Stephen Joseph Theatre. Walk around to the front of the theatre, then carry on down North Way, passing the Police Station. Go down the hill and across two roundabouts, walking past the Baptist Church. The Almar is 200m on the left hand side of the road.
A regular bus service from Leeds, York and Malton - the Yorkshire Coastline - runs direct to Scarborough stopping at the bottom of the road next to Peasholm Park which is very close to us. Arriva bus services also run between Middlesbrough and Scarborough.
