Pretty Cornish village Boscastle with its fine inns, restaurants and gift shops is just 1.5 miles away and we're perfectly placed for touring, within an hour's drive of Exeter and an easy drive from the Eden Project, Bodmin Moor, Tintagel Castle and best beaches at Bude and Padstow Bay.

Brimming with character Victorian features, each of our four guest rooms are individually themed with en-suite facilities. Emma's Room is a beautiful king-size double en-suite with a unique restored 'Thunderbox' toilet dating from the 1870s! Featuring views towards the lawn and woodland garden, Emma's Room includes a large antique wardrobe, a dresser and Victorian slate fireplace. Our Mr Hardy's Room named after the famous poet who stayed in this room is a double with a feature antique double bed and spacious power shower. For the ultimate romantic retreat opt for The Rector's Room, a large super-king-size double en-suite with a deluxe whirlpool bath with a shower over, an antique wardrobe and stunning local slate features.
