And, to be short-listed in the Growth Strategy of the Year Award, in the midst of a recession really is an accomplishment. What’s more, iknow operates in an industry that relies on discretionary spending. But they have still managed to double turnover this year and recruited 25 new members of staff; many of whom are graduates who were recruited locally.

The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 23rd November 2006 at the Barton Grange Hotel near Preston and be hosted by the BBC North West Tonight anchorman Gordon Burns.
