Larger than most Whitby cottages, Prince of Wales Cottage is a superb, dog friendly self catering holiday cottage which can be found in a cobbled cul-de-sac only yards from the foot of the 199 stone steps that lead to Whitby Abbey. Perfect for family sea-side breaks, beautiful beaches can be found closeby along with all of the historic attractions of the town centre.

Inside

The living accommodation includes a spacious lounge with plenty of charming features including painted beams and a large feature fireplace. There is a choice of comfortable seating, a dining table with six chairs and entertainment facilities such as a TV and free Wi-Fi. Modern self catering facilities in the kitchen include a dishwasher, washer/ dryer, oven, hob and small appliances including a microwave.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

On the first floor is a double bedroom and bunk bedroom adjacent to a newly-fitted family bathroom with electric shower. A character steep staircase leads up to a twin bedroom with glimpses over the rooftops towards the sea. All have lots of storage and are furnished with stylish decor.

Outside

The property has a private yard with outdoor furniture and public parking can be found a short walk away.

Availability

The changeover day at peak times is Saturday and flexible throughout the rest of the year. Three pets are welcome by arrangement at an extra charge of £20 each per stay. Short breaks of three nights or more may be available.

Spectacular coastal walks towards Robin Hood's Bay are right on your doorstep.

Just a 2 minute walk from the sea and a 15 minute walk from public parking if required. Whitby station is just half a mile away. Specialist shops, restaurants, the beach and harbour are all adjacent.
