Booking enquiries are made directly to you by email.
Enquiries can only be made to one property at a time. There is no mass-enquiry function!
You then correspond directly with the enquirer either by phone or email to take the booking.
The average person sends 2 enquiries, so the sooner you reply the more chance you have of securing the booking.
There are no hidden costs or commissions paid on bookings.
It is easy to identify that enquiries have come from us so you can monitor the performance of your listing.

Average email enquiry rates*

On average an iknow-uk customer will receive a certain number of email enquiries depending upon the listing they purchase:

* Enquiry figures are based on average online email enquiry statistics for accommodation providers on iknow-uk websites. Numbers can vary depending on use of reciprocal link feature, local demand, seasonality and the quality of the listing.

Enquiry figures DO NOT include the additional phone enquiries generated by the site as we cannot monitor those, but we DO publish your phone number.

Main factors effecting enquiry volume

Local Demand

Clearly properties in York, Windermere and Blackpool will receive more enquiries than Haworth, Ulverston and Colne. Tourist hot spots generate more enquiries as more people want to go there than quieter areas. However, in quieter areas the smaller range of properties leads to a higher percentage of enquiries converting to bookings.

Seasonality

Most of our customers comfortably exceed the average figures during the summer months while October through to December are often the quietest months.

Listing Quality

There are many aspects that affect the quality of a listing. The main issues are the quality of photographs, the descriptive text and the use of control panel features such as availability, photo captions and variable summary text.
