Advanced MySQL Database Programmer - Posted 18/12/06

Our websites and e-business solutions are driven by the advanced use of web and database technology. We are looking to expand our development team with the addition of a skilled MySQL database programmer.

The role will be to work on continuously improving the products and services we offer to our customers as well as evolving our internal e-business processes. On a typical project you will be part of the design team contributing to the specification of the end product. You will then be responsible for implementing the project working with members of the technical team as required.

You must have an excellent attention to detail and be able to test and prove concepts prior to implementation. Specific requirements are:

Advanced MySQL skills
Familiarity with normalised data, MySQL functions
Ability to hand code SQL queries
Familiarity with PPHP programming and ability to interact with SQL through MySQLi
Familiarity with Smarty templating engine and XHTML (strict) an advantage
