Llangollen Corn Mill

Situated in the picturesque Dee Valley, Llangollen is home to a wonderful range of boat trips along the Llangollen Canal and steam train rides along the Llangollen Railway. Canal boat rides take you over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct which was designed by Thomas Telford before continuing past Chirk Castle. Steam train rides include a service by Thomas the Tank Engine - always a favourite with the kids. Other attractions in the town include the Llangollen Motor Museum, Plas Newydd manor house and Valle Crucis Abbey. The annual Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod is also a major draw to the town each July.

Llangollen close proximity to the River Dee also makes the town perfect for adventure holidays with white-water rafting, canoeing and kayaking all available. You can also try rock climbing, archery, gorge walking and abseiling. Everybody from school groups to stag and hen parties are catered for in Llangollen.
