Pembroke Dock

Home to the oldest castle in Wales and the famous Pembroke Dock, Pembroke is home to an excellent range of attractions and is set on a 186 mile coastal path. Pembroke Castle, birthplace of Henry VII, is one of the town's most famous attractions and was built in the 11th Century. You could also take a trip to the Gun Tower Museum which explores the history of Pembroke Dock or enjoy a game of golf at the waterside South Pembrokeshire Golf Club. Pembroke is also convenient for ferries to Ireland with a regular service departing twice a day to Rosslare in County Wexford. The town also plays host to the annual Fiddle Festival of Wales which showcases live music from a range of violinists, banjo and guitar players. Beautiful beaches along the South Pembrokeshire Coast are also within easy reach.

The town of Pembroke and its neighbouring dock and countryside are home to a choice of holiday cottages with hot tubs, welcoming hotels close to the dockside and pet friendly caravan parks ideal for a family break. There is a good choice of cottages for larger groups, perfect for if you are on a group walking holiday, or budget travellers looking for overnight accommodation before a ferry trip.
