Port Isaac Beach

Port Isaac fishing village on the North Cornwall Coast is surrounded by rugged coastal scenery. The old town clusters around the picturesque harbour, and more modern buildings sit elevated on the headland hillside. Once a bustling port, today the village offers a peaceful base, with a small beach area. Wadebridge is just 10 miles away and Port Isaac is within easy reach of best UK beaches around Polzeath four miles to the west.

Fresh fish is usually landed at the harbour daily and the village has a selection of craft shops, local restaurants, inns, fine fish & chip takeaways and grocery stores. Spectacular coastal walking features around Port Isaac including the popular hike between Port Isaac and Port Quin. Scenic boat trips and fishing excursions are also available from the harbour.

Stay in a welcoming B&B, or your own fisherman's cottage for a self-catering stay. Relax in a luxurious hotel or dine and stay in a peaceful Port Isaac inn. The village offers beautiful scenery for walkers, and inspiration for artists and photographers. It includes art galleries displaying the works of locals, and is home to the independent shop owned by Jackie Llewelyn Bowen, wife of Laurence Llewelyn Bowen, who lives in the village.
