Prestatyn Beach

Wales' most easterly coastal holiday resort, Prestatyn, is one of the country's most popular destinations for visits from England and Scotland. It's located along the Offa's Dyke Path, which makes it a rest stop for long-distance walkers travelling the 177 miles, and is the starting point for other walks including the North Wales Path, Clwydian Way and Dee Way. One of the most interesting sights to be enjoyed from coastal paths is the North Hoyle Wind Farm, set five miles off the coast - the first major offshore wind farm in the UK, it powers 40,000 homes.

Prestatyn is famous for its Blue Flag beach, drawing holidaymakers from all over the world. It's also home to Neptunes Pool, including water slides and inflatables. In the summer, the annual Prestatyn Carnival features a parade and family entertainment. Options for accommodation in Prestatyn include chain and independent holiday parks, hotels and B&B. The area also has a number of self-catering properties perfect for families, couples or small groups of friends. Using our site, find and compare Prestatyn holiday accommodation.
