View of Old Harry Rocks from Studland

The perfect year round peaceful escape with family friendly sea bathing, Studland village and Bay on the Isle of Purbeck sits alongside the South West Coast Path and you can head off along one of the trail's most spectacular walks - the 2.9 mile stretch from Studland village to Swanage which takes in Old Harry rocks and the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast. En-route there are fantastic views across to Poole Harbour, Bournemouth and the Solent. Studland is nicely sheltered by Ballard Down and is conveniently situated just 2 miles from Swanage. There's also swift access by ferry across to Poole Harbour and nearby Bournemouth. Coastal Purbeck Golf Course is nearby offering a great golfing challenge and glorious sea views. Studland is also an excellent coastal and heathland area for horse riding. Head to The Studland Riding Stables for hacking across the heath or on North beach during low season.
