Lynton Cinema

Devon's Lynton Cinema is one of a kind. Yes it is a standard small cinema in that it runs two daily showings in the warmer months - bog-standard Hollywood blockbusters as well as some more unusual films at times. One of the two showings is frequently a family feature, while the other tends to be more adult-orientated. In the Winter months there's usually one showing each day with a Monday matinee.

Lynton itself

That all sounds very normal, but its unusualness is that Lynton is probably the smallest English town to have its own cinema. Situated in the old Methodist Chapel this quaint and fascinating cinema seats only 68 people but is comfortable, heated and air conditioned, with disabled access, toilets and refreshments available.

With handy parking across the road at the Cross Street car park, why not make a trip to the Lynton cinema a must-do part of your holiday in Devon? Then return to your great accommodation for a comfortable night's sleep - check out our listings below for more information.
