Catterick Racecourse in North Yorkshire is one of the region's most accessible racecourses, located just off the A1 motorway, to the south east of Richmond. Hosting both jump and flat racing, Catterick features 27 race meets through the year from January to December. Welcome to one of Yorkshire's busiest racecourse acclaimed as one of the North's top National Hunt Racecourses. Catterick opens the year's racing calendar with its popular New Year's Day meet.

There's been racing here from as far back as the 17th century, with a permanent course established in 1813. All modern racing and hospitality facilities combine with a rich heritage - the old framework of the 1906 stand is still in place here at friendly Catterick. This Yorkshire racecourse prides itself on being one of England's friendliest and most relaxed courses.

Facilities & Hospitality

Enclosures include The Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure which give racegoers easy access to the main racecourse, Winners' Enclosure, Parade Ring and facilities around it including a choice of restaurants, bars and cafes. Betting shop bars and the Totesport Betting Shop are also in the area.

The Course Enclosure puts your right at the heart of racing. From here you'll have an excellent view of Jump and Flat racecourses. Food and drink outlets are extensive, and this space is great for families, featuring indoor and outdoor play areas.
