Keighley is rich in transport history, home to the Railway Children Line - the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and the Keighley Bus Museum and the Vintage Carriages Trust Museum. Keighley Bus Museum is situated on Old Dalton Lane and has a collection of over fifty buses and coaches dating from 1927 to the late 1970s. Around 20 vehicles in the collection are in full running orders whilst about 30 are awaiting restoration. Riverside Depot is just off Dalton Lane behind Dalton Mills, about 15 mins walk from Keighley Town Centre.
The Vintage Carriages Trust Museum of Rail Travel is situated alongside Ingrow Station on The Keighley & Worth Valley Line. Here you can step aboard old vintage carriages and hear tales of ordinary passengers from the past. The on-site shop is a must visit for railway enthusiasts.
Located just east of Keighley centre, 17th Century East Riddlesden Hall manor house is cared for by the National Trust and sits within extensive romantic gardens. The attraction is one of the Trust's award-winners, featuring spectacular gardens and an on-site shop, tours, ample free parking and a children's play area.
