Is it completely free internet advertising?

What do I have to do?

Simply fill in the Free Trial Demonstration Form and we'll do the rest. We may contact you for some additional information about your property and will then inform you when the trial has gone live.

Can I have a trial or a listing if I don't have a web site?

Yes. As long as you are able to send and receive emails and can supply us with text and good quality photographs of your property you can benefit from internet marketing, promotion and advertising for free online with us.

Can I have a link?

Yes. We operate a reciprocal link policy where we link to you in exchange for one to us. During the trial we can set up a free one way link for your website for you to evaluate. Once the trial ends you will need to set up a link to us in order for our link to you to stay in place.

Can I have a free trial if I don't have email?

Yes! An 084 number and a weblink to your site will be added to your listing to help you monitor enquiries from our site.

Can I change details on my listing?

Yes. You have full control over your internet marketing via access to our control panel which allows you to edit and refine all aspects of your listing, including availability. Experience shows us that those who take most interest in their listing get the most out of our internet marketing services.

What happens at the end of the free trial?

You will be contacted by one of our staff to see how it has gone for you and discuss your listing options. You are under no obligation to buy a listing but if you do you will need to choose between the four different internet marketing products we have: Silver, Gold and Platinum, Platinum Plus.

What if I don't have good photos of my property?

Good quality photos are essential if you want to get good results. No matter what your property is like in reality people visiting our sites can only make a judgment on what they see. Generally, the better the photos the better your results on our sites so try to make sure you get good ones.

Will you invoice me if I don't end the free trial?

No! Unfortunately we do hear of this practice quite often from our customers with other sites. To confirm; the trial is completely free, without obligation and we only invoice if you agree to go ahead!

Why does the guarantee not apply to non-accommodation listings?

The nature of how people respond to non-accommodation advertising is very different and less trackable. For example, it makes sense to book accommodation in advance to ensure you have somewhere suitable to stay but even though you may decide on a restaurant, shop or attraction at the booking / planning stage a visitor may not bother making contact and simply show up.

Why is there a lower minimum level for self catering properties?

Generally self catering properties such as cottages and apartments receive fewer enquiries as they do not provide single night accommodation. However, as each enquiry is for between 3 to 7 days there is more value per enquiry.

Why do listings have to use the features you specify in order to qualify for the guarantee?

Over the years we have consistently seen that listings which use all the features available to them get more enquiries and bookings. Quite simply, the more information you provide and the better the quality the more bookings you make.

Why do I have to seek advice before asking for my money back?

We have a dedicated customer support team whose job it is to help our customers get the most from their listing. All customers have different levels of business they can expect from their iknow listing depending upon many different factors, such as their location, pricing, seasonality etc. In order to activate the guarantee we need to know that you are not satisfied with your enquiries so we can help to make improvements. Some changes we can make ourselves, whereas some changes requires input from our customers, such as providing new photographs.
