Stoney Brow House is a large holiday property which was once 4 Victorian cottages, dating from the 1880s. Perfect for large groups, Stoney Brow can sleep up to 16 people if you include our sofa bed! Guests can enjoy the large indoor swimming pool, and interior decor with touches such as spiral iron staircases and warm stoves. Set in 3 acres of grounds Stoney Brow House has stunning views over the West Yorkshire countryside and makes the perfect retreat to get away from it all!
Situated on the outskirts of Halifax, the Stoney Brow House offers a great base from where to to explore the many attractions throughout Yorkshire. From here, guests can pop into town and enjoy a meal or go shopping in the many high street or boutique stores. For those that like to venture further afield, the elegant Hebden Bridge is a short drive away with classic shops and a friendly atmosphere or visit the cities of Bradford and Leeds near by.
The use of six bedrooms allows comfortable sleeping accommodation for 14 people (16 with the sofa bed). The large number of rooms allows for many combinations of sleeping arrangements and suits all needs. Close by are ample restaurants and pubs within 1 mile of the house. The property is available to guests throughout the year and offers extensive kitchen and dining facilities including double oven, 8 hob gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Both the lounge and dining areas have solid fuel fires, perfect for those chilly winter evenings. We now have a new games room with coin operated pool table, pinball, computer games & a dart board. Stoney Brow House offers an indoor 35 foot heated swimming pool complete with a sauna, showers and changing room, along with a sun bed. (Swimming towels are provided.)

On leaving the M1 at Junction 42, take M62 to Manchester, exit 26. Take the A58 to Halifax. A58: Through Hipperholm, past the lights at Stump Cross Inn on right. Up the hill, under the iron bridge. Then left onto Charleston Road. Then follow signs to Eureka Centre which will take you past Sainsbury's on Charleston Road. Past Sainsbury's on the right, follow road round to a t-Junction, Turn left and then left again (under bridge). Follow road round Swan Bank Lane (cobbled) and turn left at the bottom. Approximately 300 yards on the left is the Cross Keys Inn, immediately turn onto Whitegate . Continue up the hill and bare left up Whitegate and past South View row of terraced houses. Continue up the hill and turn right into Stoney Brow House. Take a wide sweep onto the drive as it is very steep.
