Pinfold Cottage is a family-run, four star B&B that offers guests a very warm Yorkshire welcome. Nestled in Fulford, the guest house is only a pleasant 30 minute walk to York city centre, and there's easy access to the University, Racecourse, McArthur Glen Designer Outlet and Fulford Imphal Barracks.
The cottage itself dates back to the 19th century, built circa 1865 on the site of the Battle of Fulford (1066). Inside has been sympathetically restored and decorated, providing a great environment for business and leisure stays.
Four en-suite bedrooms are available at Pinfold Cottage.
Each room has a flat screen Freeview TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities with hospitality tray, hairdryer, and a radio alarm clock. An iron and ironing board are available on request.
Breakfasts are included in the room rate and served in the dining room. Where possible, locally sourced ingredients are sourced and most diets can be catered for including low fat, gluten free and vegetarian.
As well as the traditional full English you can enjoy a pot of Yorkshire Tea, or a cafetiere of Taylor's of Harrogate coffee.
Free Wi-Fi access is provided.
A private, off-road car park is available letting you leave the car and enjoy York on foot.
If you're celebrating a special occasion, please ask Pinfold about supplying flowers, champagne, wine, or chocolates to be ready on your arrival. You're also welcome to bring your own wine as wine glasses and a corkscrew is provided in your room.
Subject to availability, business and leisure travellers can take advantage of reduced rates for longer or regular stays.
