    About this Holiday Cottage

    Laburnum Cottage is a beautifully designed wing of a property which is set out over two floors in the heart of the popular town of Kirkby Stephen between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. With one king size double bedroom and a Jacuzzi bath, this cottage is a haven of luxury for a couple wanting to indulge themselves. The rest of the accommodation is made up of an open plan living area with kitchen, dining table and sitting area which are all on the second floor. Being so close to the town centre, the nearest shop and pub are less than a minute's walk away, which makes Laburnum Cottage a superb location to explore all of the delights of this amazing part of the country.

    Over first and scond floors. One king-size double bedroom with en-suite Jacuzzi bath, shower over, basin and WC. Second floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Free parking in market square 40 metres from property (guests can pull up outside property to load/unload). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub less than 1 min walk. Note: Property is accessed via an internal staircase.

    The market town of Kirkby Stephen lies at the foot of the Howgill Fells in the upper Eden Valley, between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks and it is home to a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs for every taste and budget. A delightful rural town with a thriving local community and many traditional old dwellings, Kirkby Stephen boasts cobbled old yards, quaint corners and a pretty picnic area where "Frank's Bridge" crosses the River Eden, while just a mile from the town, the old railway station connects to the magnificent Settle to Carlisle Railway line, a must-do travel experience for everyone. Enjoy many excellent walks and cycle routes nearby, explore the magnificent Howgill Fells or visit the majestic Pendragon Castle.
