The holiday cottage is a detached 2 bedroomed single storey cottage which has been restored to a very high standard and boasts a large inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove.
Beautiful features abound including extensive wooden flooring, beams and period features, and a four poster bed with drapes, perfect for that Yorkshire romantic weekend getaway.
Guests can expect four star accommodation within the cottage. After a day exploring the heritage coast guests can return to the warmth of Smithy cottage, enjoy a glass of wine, a board game or a DVD as you relax by the woodburning stove. Other facilities and amenities include parking, a television, DVD, video, a shower, microwave, dishwasher, a wood stove, central heating and laundry facilities. All bed linen and towels are inclusive and provided.

Smithy Cottage is set in the small rural hamlet of Grindale, just 4 miles from Filey and is ideally situated for touring the Yorkshire Wolds, North Yorkshire moors, and the glorious Heritage coast. Bridlington and Scarborough are also just a short drive away.
Also within easy reach are Reighton Sands and Filey Beach.
Grindale is situated just off the A165 Bridlington to Scarborough road. After leaving Bridlington drive for one mile along the A165 and take the first turning for Grindale and the scenic drive.
Grindale is the first village you come to. Stay on the main road and Smithy Cottage is on your left as you turn the bend.
