Situated in the heart of Skipton, The Unicorn Hotel is your perfect southern gateway into the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Dating from the early 1900s and recently refurbished to a very high standard, this stylish hotel is a 5 minute stroll from Skipton train station and mere minutes from the town's famous markets, castle and classic real ale inns. Families are warmly welcome, with a variety of all en-suite rooms available catering for all visitor types. Designated pet friendly rooms are also available and free WiFi is throughout the hotel including in our modern meeting room seating up to 12 delegates.
Ten en-suite rooms include a choice of family, twin and double rooms. Sky TV package inclusive of Movies is now standard in all our rooms.
Each room contains a brand new en-suite bathroom with bath/ shower, a 32" TV with Freeview, a reliable quality WiFi connection, blackout curtains and blind, a plentiful supply of sockets and extension leads, complimentary refreshment tray and fine toiletries, a desk and dressing table, ironing facilities and stylish decor. Guests have a choice between Goose down or microfibre pillows.
Our full Yorkshire breakfasts are extra special with sausages, free range eggs and black pudding all sourced locally from ethical Yorkshire farmers. The dining room seats up to 18 guests - breakfast is optional available for an additional charge.
Choose from breakfast served in the dining room from 7.30am to 9.30am, or breakfast in bed delivered direct to your room.
Check-in from 2pm and check-out by 11am. Guests are welcome to leave luggage at the hotel and pick up key cards before 2pm. Early check-in from 11am is occasionally possible dependent on availability and for a small additional charge - please enquire direct.
Late check-out until 1.30pm during the week incurs no extras charge. (a small charge applies at weekends).
The Unicorn Hotel is situated in the centre of Skipton opposite the Devonshire Place bus station. Reception is on the second floor and the entrance is very well lit with full signage in place.
