About this Holiday Cottage

The four star, Gold rated Stable Cottage is a recent barn conversion that now offers exceptional self-catering accommodation. It’s perfect for short breaks near Robin Hood’s Bay and couples looking a peaceful retreat. The local village of Fylingdales is close by and all amenities are within easy walking distance. There you’ll find a shop, cafe, country inn, garage and excellent transport links. For those who love to explore the countryside by foot, the famous Lyke Wake Walk passes through the valley to the rear of the cottage and is perfect for making some wonderful discoveries.

Stable Cottage has one bedroom designed for complete comfort and luxury. It features a king sized bed, exposed beams and open ceilings. The rest of the self-contained property comprises of a lounge with leather sofas, alcove seating, Freeview TV, dining area and stone flooring with underfloor heating. There’s also a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Access to drying facilities available from March to October. Towards the rear is a large private garden and ample parking is provided.

All bed linen and towels are provided with bathrobes and complimentary slippers included for that extra bit of comfortable. For the kitchen, tea towels, dish clothes, oven gloves and an apron are available. Upon arrival, guests receive a complimentary welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, fruit basket and locally sourced Bothams biscuits. A breakfast hamper can be ordered upon request.

If you’re interested in a great day, Scarborough town is only 12 miles away and is one of the UK's favourite seaside resorts. There are many attractions within the town such as the historic Castle, Hairy Bob's Cave and chilling ghost walks. Whitby is only eight miles away and has a fine selection of quirky shops, restaurants, wine bars and traditional pubs. And it was here that Bram Stoker began to pen the first words of his world famous novel 'Dracula'.
