Kings Haven Cottage is a beautiful Grade II Listed cottage in the heart of Pickering, with walker and cyclist ‘Welcome Status’ and nestles on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park, just a short stroll from the famous steam railway and only 300 metres away from the nearest pub. The cottage is presented to the highest standards and is the perfect retreat for two, with a welcome pack on arrival and short breaks available.
The sitting and dining room area contains a cosy open living flame gas fire and all home from home facilities are provided including gas central heating, electric, bed linen, a flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD/ DVD library.
A great ‘chill out’ snug on the galleried landing area also features upstairs equipped with comfy seating, a flatscreen TV, DVD and music system.
The fully fitted, truly stunning contemporary kitchen boasts a range of appliances, such as an electric cooker, ceramic hob, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

Guests are provided with a sample of fresh eggs from the owner's hens Hetty, Betty and Letty, and we also provide a complimentary welcome hamper, including bread, milk, butter, coffee and tea.
Strictly no smoking, and no pets allowed. Free WiFi. Arrivals from 3pm, and depart by 10am. A deposit of £50 is payable in order to secure your booking, and the full balance should be paid 6 weeks before you arrive.

The cottage is in a handy location, just a 5 minute walk away from the town centre of Pickering, where you can pick up all your essentials and enjoy a quiet drink in one of the great local pubs.
In the surrounding area, there are a host of other popular attractions, such as The North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Dalby Forest, Beck Isle Museum, St Peter and St Paul Church and Cropton Brewery.
You will find us on the A170 in Westgate, Pickering approximately 1 Km west of the roundabout on the Thirsk road. From the roundabout travel 1 km on the Helmsley road, take the second right onto Teal Lane. Take the first left 30 metres left along Teal Lane. Drive 25 metres past the stone outbuildings to the parking area on the left.
