About this Bed and Breakfast

The perfect gateway into the Highlands, Greystones Bed & Breakfast in Kingussie sits in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, offering easy access to a range of outdoor activities and within easy reach of Aviemore.  A fantastic golf course and Kingussie's central amenities are just a 10 minute walk away and popular skiing areas are within a 30 minute drive. Hosts Anne and Mark offer a warm welcome, and all modern comforts including free internet/ computer access.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

In additional to our two four poster rooms and our family room, we also offer a single room which overlooks the garden and a further twin bedroom.

Our guest rooms share use of two bathrooms including one with a spa bath or relax in the roll top bath in the Victorian bathroom. There is also a shower room with power shower which can be hired exclusively for your stay. 


Optional Full Scottish breakfast or lighter breakfast options are available for a small extra charge and we will prepare a packed lunch if you wish.

Other Facilities

A cosy sitting room with an open fire, tea and coffee, books, games, a TV and DVD player. There is a computer with internet access available for guests use in the dining room.

Parking for up to six cars is available at Greystones and we also offer cycle storage and hard standing for motor bikes. We are pet friendly - please advise when booking if you wish to bring your pet.

Around and About

Kingussie offers an abundance of activties and attractions.  Sport fans will enjoy the famous Kingussie Shinty Club and the picturesque Kingussie Golf Club. The area has a huge range of outdoor activities for all levels of abilities, including walking, climbing, water-sports, gliding, golf, winter sports, fishing, cycling, riding and bird watching.

Local places to visit include The Highland Folk Museum, the Highland Wildlife Park, Landmark (Kids will love it!), Ruthven Barracks, Waltzing Waters, Aviemore Steam Railway, Dalwhinnie Whisky Distillery and much more.....
