Set in the beautiful mid Wales countryside a 1000ft above sea-level, Oak Wood Lodges give easy access to a number leisure activities. Climb up one of the many mountain tracks, take a gentle stroll around the lakes, cycle through the picturesque scenery, try your hand at fishing, watch the Red Kite and other birds of prey that populate the area soar overhead, or play a round of golf at one of the nearby courses. The local tranquil town of Rhayader is only 2 miles away with shops, restaurants and lots of pubs for a relaxing meal and drink. Oak Wood Lodges have both 2 and 3 bedroom lodges. The Tawny Owl and Barn Owl Lodges come with double and twin bedrooms, shower room, open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen, central heating, satellite TV and DVD player, and French windows leading out on to a south facing veranda. The Eagle Owl Lodge offers a double and twin room and a room with an l-shaped bunk arrangement, as well as 2 additional fold-up beds, a bathroom with a bath as well as a walk-in shower, well equipped kitchen, satellite TV & DVD and French windows leading out to a south facing veranda.
Each lodge has car parking facilities for 2 cars adjacent to the lodge. The Barn and Tawny Owl Lodges each have their own picnic bench whilst the Eagle Owl Lodges feature a table and chairs on the veranda. Being located 1000ft above sea-level, each lodge boasts a spectacular 5 mile view across the valley, and with the verandas of all lodges facing south, you can sit and soak up the sun whilst admiring the view and watching the red kites soaring overhead.
