Situated in the heart of Lynton, Longmead House is a beautifully presented Victorian house enjoying a fantastic location on the edge of the Exmoor National Park.
The house is surrounded by picturesque gardens and rooms feature traditional fireplaces, oak beams and original panelling.
Longmead is perfectly located for exploring with the Valley of the Rocks, the Cliff Railway and the beaches of the Bristol Channel a short walk from the front door.
Our nine guest rooms are generously sized with stylish decor and modern en-suite shower facilities.
We have a range of single, double, super king and superior rooms all equipped with flat screen TV’s, well stocked hospitality trays, free Wi-Fi and hairdryers.
Our premium room is a large and sunny room – ideal for romantic breaks with fantastic elevated views over the garden.
Bed linen, soft towels and a selection of complimentary toiletries are provided.
Our breakfast menu includes a wide range of options including Full English breakfasts and a range of lighter options including salmon, scrambled eggs and breakfast muffins.
A self serve buffet of cereals, home-made breads, fruits, yoghurts and hot drinks are available.
We also have a vegetarian full breakfast and can cater for other dietary requirements with prior notification.
Guests are very welcome to enjoy use of our cosy guest lounge with plush sofas and a wood burning stove lit in the cooler months. There are a selection of games and books to borrow.
We have a beautifully presented garden with outdoor seating. There is ample off road parking outside the guest house.
Check in is available between 4pm and 7pm on arrival day and rooms must be vacated by 10 30am on the day or departure. Please note that we are open between late Spring until Autumn.

Lyton is ideal for those looking to explore the areas winding coastal paths and trails. We are situated close to the South West Coastal Path, Tarka Trail and Two Moors Way.We provide a selection of OS maps and guides for guests looking to walk the local area.
Besides walking there are plenty of other activities available in the local area including horse riding, fishing and cycling in Exmoor. Stroll along Lynmouth Harbour towards Rhenish Tower and stop at a cafe for traditional Devon Cream Tea.
