About Honeysuckle Cottage - Sleeps 4

Charming two bedroom Honeysuckle Cottage sits in the pretty hamlet of Moorsholm, a Britain in Bloom Gold award winner just to the west of Staithes and Whitby.  Ideally situated for exploring the North York Moors and the Jurassic Coast, this 150 year old farmhand's cottage is appointed to a high standard with great attention to detail throughout.  Walls feature Farrow and Ball paint and the cottage has an ancient stone fireplace which we unearthed during renovation.

The cottage is perfect for year round romantic weekend breaks, a walking getaway or a family holiday.  Pretty villages in the Esk Valley and Ryedale are within easy reach and the steam railway from Grosmont to Whitby is just on your doorstep.  Don't miss a visit to the stunning coastal villages of Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay, and the cottage is only a short distance from The Danby Moors Centre.

Living Space (Ground Floor)

  • Cosy ground floor lounge with woodburning stove, beamed ceiling and the feature ancient stone fireplace uncovered during renovation.  Relaxing sofas and wing back chairs, a large flat-screen LCD TV and a DVD player are all inclusive.
  • A spacious dining kitchen is open plan to the lounge and fully equipped with a washer/ dryer, dishwasher, a microwave and an electric oven, a fridge, freezer, ironing facilities and patio furniture ideal for al fresco drinks and dining.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms (First Floor)

  • Two very comfortable upstairs bedrooms - a king-size double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both beautifully presented with Egyptian cotton sheets on beds.
  • Bathroom containing a bath with an overhead shower and a glass screen, wc and a wash basin.
