The Oldroyd Guest House and Spa has selection of en-suite bedrooms available, including a romantic four poster room, where you can order a bouquet of flowers, bottle champagne or a birthday cake, to mark that special occasion. There are also double rooms and twin rooms which can be booked in conjunction with the spa package, enabling use of the 8-person hot tub and spa, with fluffy bathrobes and complimentary slippers.
For families, there is the option of a family room with a double bed, single bed and sturdy bunk beds, which can accommodate 3 to 5 people.
Guests have the option of a full English cooked breakfast or continental breakfast, using fresh locally sourced ingredients. The cooked breakfast includes bacon, sausages, free range eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and toast, with fresh orange juice, tea or coffee. We can cater for all kinds of special diets including vegetarians and vegans - just ask! The continental breakfast includes a choice of cereals, croissants and toast.

The new spa facilities were recently installed in 2014, and is located at the B&B in a Swiss- style log cabin. The large hot tub can hold up to 8 people, and is designed to stimulate and invigorate through the powerful massaging jets, at a constant temperature of 28 degrees.
The infrared sauna is designed to fit 4 people, and and the steam cabinet detoxes and cleanses.
The spa includes excellent facilities such as a power shower, changing room, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. While using the spa, guests have use of entertainment systems such as the 40 inch flatscreen TV, DVD player and surround sound system.
The market town of Uttoxeter is home to the world- famous Uttoxeter Racecourse, which is situated rather conveniently close to Oldroyd Guest House, as well as Alton Towers and Drayton Manor, the popular Staffordshire theme parks that attracts visitors from all over the country.
Just down the road from the Guest House is the Dapple Grey Pub and The Ivory Cafe, which are popular with guests and even offer a discount to customers showing a card from Oldroyd Guest House.
Uttoxeter has excellent transport connections with many of the surrounding large towns and cities, served by it's own train station and with the A50 running along the outskirts of the town.
From the North West Going South on the M6 get off at J15 for Trentham and Keele then follow the A50 to Uttoxeter.
From the North East Going South on the M1 get off at J28 for Alfreton and travel along the A38 to Derby then the A156 and A50 to Uttoxeter.
From the South West Going North on the M6 get off at J13 for Stafford South and follow the A449 then the A518 to Uttoxeter.
From the South East Going North on the M1 get off at J24 and follow the A50 to Uttoxeter.
