About this Bed and Breakfast

For a truly relaxing break in breathtaking rural surroundings, book a room at St Mark's. Our Cautley B&B looks out over the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and we serve traditional AGA-cooked English breakfasts and continental alternatives and have a walled terrace within the garden that is perfect for drinks on a summer's afternoon. Why not call now to book your room?

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

We have three guest bedrooms, all en-suite. Two rooms are twin-bedded, but they can also be arranged as double rooms. There's also a family room for two adults and two children. All rooms come with TVs and DVD players, and with tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms are elegantly furnished, homely and comfortable.

Enjoy a continental or traditional AGA-cooked English breakfast, made with locally sourced produce and served in the elegant dining room.

Other Facilities

Free Wi-Fi is available.

Pets are welcomed by arrangement.

For walkers and cyclists we also offer secure undercover bike storage and drying facilities, plus a selection of maps and local guides.

Packed lunches and evening meals can be provided on request.

Special to the Guest House

The guest house has an informal, yet mature garden which is often frequented by deer, foxes and a variety of birds. On sunny afternoons you can enjoy afternoon tea by the walled terrace.

If you wish to organise your own course or activity break then why not speak to us about hiring our studio? You can host your own classes for up to ten people, and participants can stay in our B&B rooms.

Discounts are available for bookings of three nights or more.

St. Mark’s is about 3 miles (5 km) north east of Sedbergh on the A683 Kirkby Stephen road and 11 miles (18 km) from junction 37 on the M6.
