Sandbank holidays offer self catering holiday accommodation for families and couples, and pets are also welcome. Sheltered in a quiet conservation area of the eastern side of St. Ives Bay near Hayle, Sandbank is ideally located for exploring West Cornwall and its many attractions, including surfing, fishing and golfing. We have a range of self catering bungalows and a studio, all of which are kept spotlessly clean and fully equipped for your Cornish holiday. Our secluded garden & play area provides a safe environment for the children and at Sandbanks well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
We offer a range of accommodation options to suit couples and families with bungalows, plus a smaller studio to choose from. All our bungalows have their own enclosed private gardens with patio or decking areas, ideal for sitting out with a relaxing glass of wine. Located close to the magnificent sandy beach at Gwithian that stretches for 3 miles, Sandbank is situated in the heart of St. Ives Bay and within 2 miles of Hayle. We are ideally placed for the beach, touring, walking and water sport holidays, as well as bird watching and within easy travelling distance of all areas of Cornwall.
We have two types of bungalow; the Pixie band F is in a secluded corner and comprises of an open-plan kitchen/lounge, double bedroom and a separate shower room. The Garden Bungalows band K are larger and comprise of a large open-plan kitchen/lounge, double and twin bedrooms, double bed/settee in the lounge, plus enclosed patio area overlooking the gardens. The bedrooms are roomy enough for wheelchair access, and there are grab rails in the bathroom. The small Studio band B is well suited to those travelling on a tight budget and comprises of an open-plan kitchen/sitting room with a double bed permanently made up in the lounge. There is a separate shower room.
We offer disabled access properties. We welcome pets and are a family friendly site.

Take the Hayle exit at Loggans Moor roundabout on the A30. At the double mini-roundabout at Lidls turn right for Gwithian and Portreath and proceed through the village of Upton Towans. At the top of the hill there is a very sharp left-hand bend and we are the 3rd entrance immediately around this corner.
