About this Holiday Cottage

This terraced cottage is part of a modern development close to the River Esk and just one mile from the centre Whitby. Tastefully furnished and decorated throughout, this light, cheerful property offers high quality accommodation composed of a cosy living room, well equipped kitchen with dining table and two bedrooms, one of which can be cleverly sectioned into two for added privacy. Guests using the double room have the added advantage of a balcony, whilst there is also the use of a well-kept communal garden that reaches the river bank.


Two bedrooms: 1 x single with additional pull-out bed, 1 x double with balcony & sofa bed (this room can be sectioned into two by prior arrangement). Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin & WC. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Sitting room.

Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Sky+, DVD, radio. Fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for one car plus guest parking. Communal lawned gardens with furniture. Private patio area. One well-behaved dog welcome at £15 per week or short break. Sorry, no smoking. Shop & pub 15 mins walk. Note: Due to the proximity of the river, please ensure children are supervised at all times.

Located at the mouth of the River Esk, the ancient fishing port of Whitby is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire. With its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors, the region is an excellent destination for walkers, cyclists and fans of outdoor activities. Whitby itself is a charming and atmospheric town, packed with winding streets and hidden alley ways. There is also a picturesque harbour, numerous safe, sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by its famous 199 steps.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
