Around and About

Set in the midst of lush green fields and just four miles inland from the glorious beaches at Hayle, the pretty village of Reawla is an excellent base from which to explore the land of Celtic myth and legend that is Cornwall's far west. Testaments to the county's mining heritage can still be seen, whilst the coast with its rolling surf, miles of sandy beaches, hidden coves and outstanding cliff-top walking is just minutes away and provides some of the country's best surfing and water-sports. The towns of Penzance and Helston are close by, as is the quaint fishing harbour and artist's colony of St Ives. St Michael's Mount with its medieval castle and church provide an imposing presence, standing off shore in Mount's Bay.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
