    About this Holiday Cottage

    Surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the foothills of the magnificent Cader Idris is this comfortable property; a detached modern bungalow in the tiny rural hamlet of Bontnewydd just three miles from Dolgellau. This lovely property offers bright, well-equipped open plan interior accommodation whilst outside there is an attractive patio, perfect for a barbecue or relaxing in the sun with a good book. The property is well served by the amenities of Dolgellau and is within easy driving distance of one of Wales' most popular mountains - Cader Idris – as well as the Coed Y Brenin Forest Park.


    All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x twin, 1 x single with pull-out bed (suitable for child under 10). Bathroom with shower, basin and WC. Light, airy open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Bike storage shed. Patio to side with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 miles in Dolgellau. Please note: The only mobile signal available in this area is Vodafone. Note: Max 3 adults and 1 child under the age of 10.

    Around and About

    Surrounded by the spectacular scenery of wooded hills and mountains, the tiny hamlet of Bontnewydd is well placed for the wonderful Cader Idris Mountain Range and Coed Y Brenin Forest Park, which provide some of the best mountain biking in Europe. Also close by is the popular town of Dolgellau, which boasts a maze of pretty streets and a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. This lovely town is just three miles away and offers everything a visitor might need whilst staying in the local area. The impressive peaks of Snowdonia are close by too and are excellent for enthusiastic climbers, walkers, bikers and birdwatchers whilst for those who prefer a lower altitude there are many stunning sandy beaches which are ideal for family fun.

    Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
