About this Luxury Bed and Breakfast

Candlewyck Luxury Bed and Breakfast in Ulverston sits in the heart of the Southern Lake District and is a former candle factory brimming with character.  We're ideally situated in Ulverston, famous for it's Laurel & Hardy Museum and historic cinema.  The guesthouse itself is set within 7 acres of land with views up the valley in glorious countryside surroundings, yet with easy access to bustling Ulverston.  Windermere and the Central Lake District are just a 20 minute drive away and the Cumbrian Coast is within easy reach.

Luxury accommodation is non-smoking throughout for the comfort of all our guests, and also sorry no dogs (we do like them but they do tend to worry our chickens!).  Candlewyck is conveniently open all year round, even Christmas and New Year, however breakfast may be a little late during the festive season!

Guest Rooms

We offer separate accommodation in the barn which is like have your own private suite, and in the main house their are two king-size double bedrooms in a country house style.  Accommodation in the barn and the main house is perfect for families, groups, solo travellers and couples.
