Around and About

The Gower Peninsula has an extremely varied landscape with everything from limestone cliffs and beaches, dune systems, traditional agricultural land and secluded valleys of deciduous woodland. This area has been settled since prehistoric times and there are a higher than average number of Neolithic and Bronze Age sites. Llanrhidian itself is overlooked by the iron age hill fort of Cilifor.
