Just had a lovely weeks holiday in this cottage with our Labrador dog. The cottage was clean, well equipped with good facilities, plenty of room with very comfortable king size beds. The location was ideal with walking right from the front door, any problems or questions, Tara and Rens were on the spot to help. We went on the steam train from Pickering to Whitby (dogs allowed), visited the picturesque village of Helmsley, to name but a few. Very dog friendly area for pubs, cafes, attractions and we enjoyed a lovely pub nearby in Appleton le moors for many super meals. We would definitely recommend this property for a holiday in the Yorkshire moors.

"The Old Chauffeurs Cottage was outstanding and was the highlight of the week. The cottage fulfilled our needs throughout our stay, whilst at the same time provided a very contemporary functionality, balanced within a rural, characteristic and architectural design setting of a traditional farmhouse cottage.
The ambience, furniture, fittings, amenities and, above all, the cleanliness of the cottage made our stay more comfortable and therefore pleasurable, warm, welcoming and charming.
From all of the cottages we have visited recently, from the Yorkshire Dales to the Lake District, The Old Chauffeurs Cottage has been the cottage that we enjoyed the most and therefore promised ourselves a definite return visit!
We observed, and appreciated, the obvious hard work and sacrifice you have made to make the cottage attractive and inviting at first sight. We would like to congratulate you on a splendid asset set in a peaceful and beautiful location.
We will be definitely be in touch in order to reward ourselves with a return visit to The Old Chauffeurs Cottage, obviously at your discretion. Thank you and good luck!"

"Thank you both for a wonderfully presented holiday cottage and excellent hospitality. Access to the local region was very easy and we thoroughly enjoyed the break. The accommodation was second to none and contained all that is required for a perfect getaway. It was great to be comfortable and stay in a homely atmosphere, to be the first guests officially welcomed was even better. We will return. Best wishes Andy, Lin and 'Alfie'"
