Situated just a twenty minute walk or five minute bus ride from York City Centre, couples and small families can enjoy a relaxing break to North Yorkshire when staying at this cosy two bedroom, end-terrace cottage. The property is set in Heworth, the childhood home of Dame Judi Dench, and plenty of attractions can be found closeby including Glen Gardens, Heworth Holme and Monk Stray. A local pub, deli, traditional fish and chip shop and two supermarkets are located a short walk away.
The contemporary lounge has comfortable seating for three people, Freeview TV, a DVD player, iPod dock/ CD player/ radio and there is a dining area next to the back door with three chairs. The modern kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/ freezer, electric oven, grill, hob, washer/ dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere.
The cottage has a sunny courtyard garden with outdoor furniture and a outhouse which can be used as lockable bike storage. There is also free on street car parking for one car.
The rental price includes towels, anti allergy bedding, a hair dryer, first aid kit and dressing gowns. Games, books and DVDs are also provided and there is a welcome basket including wine.
Families are welcome with a cot and high chair supplied.
Short breaks of three nights or more may be available. Please note that we do not accept pets and the property is completely non-smoking.
